It's impossible to miss. On Facebook, on race banners and even in the name of the French Enduro Championship: 24MX is everywhere.

With the decline in purchasing power, their promise of broken prices is tempting and successful. But behind this beautiful showcase, is it still the business of the century?

Our mission at Freenduro is not to tell you where to buy, but to help you compare objectively. Contrary to popular belief, the Swedish giant is not always in the best position vis-à-vis our French sites.

1. 24MX prices: the decrypted “call product” strategy

You have to be honest: on their own trademarks (Raven, Twenty) and on the famous arbors that have flooded the French market, 24MX rates are unbeatable. This is their great strength and allows many bikers to equip themselves at a lower cost.

However, you need to know what you are buying:

  • On the trade marks “Maison” (Twenty/Raven): This is entry-level. The price/quality ratio is correct (but no more) for tight budgets or wear parts, but do not expect the finish of a large brand.
  • On the Big Brands (Alpinestars, Fox, etc.): This is where you have to “open your eyes”. Of these goods, 24MX is often not not cheaper than the French sites once the promos are applied.

The strategy is simple: They attract you with a cannon promo on a ring (the appeal product), hoping that you complete the basket with a helmet or branded boots... on which they normally mow.

The French response is organised

If you are looking for a robust alternative for your paddock tent, sold by a French company, La Bécanerie has drawn its own model at 119€.

2. Who is really 24MX?

Many bikers think of ordering on a website of enthusiasts. The reality is more industrial. 24MX belongs to the group Pierce AB, a multinational listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

Their striking power is enormous, but the logic is purely financial. It is a well-oiled, efficient machine, but sometimes lacking the ‘proximity’ found in French family actors such as Motoblouz (based in the North) or La Bécanerie (based in the South).

Do you prefer to work with companies based in France?

3. The French Championship... Swedish?

This is our little editorial nod. Today, our national championship is called the “Championnat de France 24MX”.

It is a business choice of the Federation (FFM) that needs strong partners, and they cannot be blamed for seeking funds. But as consumers, it is worth remembering that French companies pay their taxes and social security contributions here, and participate directly in the local economy.

4. The comparison: France vs Sweden

Beyond patriotism, who offers the best service?

Criterion24MX (Sweden)Websites English ⁇
Point FortBroken prices at entry level (Twenty, Raven).Stock and after-sales service on Premium brands (Fox, Sidi, Shoei).
LogisticsWarehouse Poland (Times sometimes variable).Shipped from France (often 24h).
SAVAutomated, efficient but standardized.Often more humane and reachable by phone.

5. Where to order French?

Here are the players who bring the motorcycle economy to life in France and from whom we prefer to order our favourite brands (often at the same price!):

Motoblouz (Carvin – 62)

The French leader. Ultra-responsive customer service. If you want Fox, Kenny or Shot, this is where you have to compare.

La Bécanerie (Avignon – 84)

The kings of the spare part. If you are looking for a piston or a seal for your 2 stroke, their search engine is often more accurate.

Speedway (national network)

Shops all over France. The advantage? Return to the store and physical advice.

⁇ Verdict: Buy smart!

If your budget is tight and you are looking for first-rate equipment: 24MX offer is a respectable solution and effective.

But if you're looking for quality (Alpinestars, Shoei, Motul) or service, don't go head-to-head. Compare with our French players: at the same price, both make local trade work and benefit from faster delivery!
