SENA Outrush 2 Headset

SENA strikes a big blow at the end of 2025. With its new Outrush 2 modular headset, the leading brand in motorcycle communication isn't just releasing one more product. It sends a clear message: state-of-the-art communication technology, including the famous Mesh, is no longer reserved for a wealthy elite. Decryption of a headset that could be a game changer.

Motorcycle communication is no longer an option, it is a reflex

We have to face up to the obvious. Gone are the days when motorcycle intercom was a luxury gadget, complex to install and reserved for technophiles. Today, between the GPS whispering in the ear, the playlist that motivates on long journeys and, above all, the pleasure of chatting with fellow travellers, communication has become a standard.

SENA understood this well. Yesterday’s brakes – price, complexity, fear of being distracted – fall one after the other. With simplified interfaces and more efficient technologies, intercom has established itself. Outrush 2 is the direct answer to this new reality: an all-in-one helmet, ready to use as soon as it leaves the box.

Outrush 2: Mesh 3.0 and Wave for less than 350 €

The real revolution of this helmet SENA with integrated intercom, it means making technologies hitherto reserved for the high-end accessible. For 349 €, Outrush 2 incorporates not one but two major communication technologies:

  1. Mesh IntercomTM 3.0: Ideal for group outings. Gone are the pains of Bluetooth chain pairing. With Mesh, everyone is connected in a stable communication bubble and can enter or exit the group without disturbing others. The Outrush 2 promises a range of 1.2 km and can connect an almost unlimited number of bikers. In private mode (“Group Mesh”), you can create a group of up to 24 participants.
  2. Wave IntercomTM: It is technology that abolishes distances and marks. Based on the cellular network via your smartphone, it allows you to chat with anyone, anywhere, with no range limit, as long as you have data. Even better, it is universal and makes it possible to communicate with bikers equipped with intercoms of other compatible brands.

Offering this technological duo in a headset at this price is a real democratization. As Vlada Bokza, Head of Marketing Europe at SENA, points out:

“Outrush 2 offers a complete solution that is much more advantageous than the separate purchase of a headset and intercom”.

The equation is quickly made.

Improved sound and a real road helmet

Beyond connectivity, SENA also worked on the audio experience. Outrush 2 takes on new 2nd Generation HD Speakers promising a richer and clearer sound, even at high speeds. The microphone has an active noise reduction to keep your voice intelligible, without the noise from the wind.

What about the helmet in all this? Because a intercom, no matter how good, it is useless if it is embedded in a bad hull. The Outrush 2 is a Modular ECE 22.06 certified with dual P/J certification, ensuring optimum safety whether the chin guard is open or closed.

We find the essentials: an ABS shell, a retractable internal sunscreen, a predisposed main visor for a Pinlock 70, and a practical micrometric jugular buckle. The announced weight of 1750 g in size M is in the average for a fully equipped modular.

On the autonomy side, the 20 hours announced in conversation are more than comfortable, and fast charging is a real plus: 20 minutes of charging would be enough to ensure 6:30 of conversation in Mesh.

Our first opinion

With the Outrush 2, SENA does not just release a new helmet. The brand sends a strong message to the market: the era of motorcycle communication for all has arrived. By combining safety (ECE 22.06), versatility (modulable P/J) and advanced communication technology (Mesh + Wave) at an unbeatable price, this helmet has everything to become a best-seller.

It is aimed directly at the pragmatic biker who is looking for a simple, efficient and economical solution without sacrificing essential functionalities. See you in mid-November 2025 to check if the promise is kept on the road!
